In June 2018, a Ground Penetrating Radar survey of the chapel site was carried out jointly by Subsite Surveys Ltd. and Discovery Surveys Ltd.
The constant rain in early Spring had prevented an earlier survey being carried out, but by June the weather conditions were perfect and the ground dry. The initial results look very promising.
Having a go!
Stuart Gledhill took some drone shots of the site at the beginning of July 2018 when Malhamdale had had no rain since the beginning of May.
The next dig will take place from May 7, 2019 for two weeks.
